Simple Trick !!! or Just a Method for Resistance Identification......

As we know, Function of resistor is to decrease the flow of Current in the circuit. As the Resistance increases the flow of current decrease which is given by ohm's law (V= I*R).

Now, for the identification what you need to know is color code of the resistor. (which is compulsory)

Black =
Brown = 1
Red = 2
Orange = 3
Yellow = 4
Green = 5
Blue = 6
Violet = 7
Gray = 8
White = 9

Here's the formula : BBROY of Great Britain have Very Great Wife. [ capital letters indicates the color]

                                           Here comes the INTERESTING part

Suppose we have to find the resistance of this resistor.    ??!!??

Orange Orange Brown and Gold

Orange = 3
Brown = 1

Resistance = 330 ohm 5% tolerance  ???? !!!????

So, what to do first thing is to take the resistor on our left hand (catch with index finger and thumb)
from which we first see the orange color. here goes number 3 for first color, and again there is orange so again number 3 for second. ( we have 33 up to now ) and last there is brown color to which we have to add Zeros.. we have brown so we add one zero because the color code for brown is zero.
now we have 330. That's it !!! That is the  resistance value of resistor with color Orange Orange Brown.

What if the resistor that coded with four or five colors?
Ans:  No matter how many colors will resistors have, we can always use this trick (and work every time)  Lets suppose Red Orange Yellow Black
Red is 2
Orange is 3
Yellow is 4
Black is 0

Resistance = 234 ohm (where is black part ?????)

Color Code for Black is Zero, so we don't need to assign Zeros at last for black color, but If Black is placed before Yellow then  [ just for an example, I don't know if this Resistor exist]

Red is 2
Orange is 3
Black is 0
Yellow is 4

 Resistance = 2300000 ohm (Four Zeros for Number 4)

What is Tolerance Part???
Ans: Tolerance is the accuracy of the value. For example, if it is labeled 1000 ohms 10%, the value can be between 900 and 1100 ohms.Basically,  we use two tolerance labeled resistor GOLD and SILVER.

GOLD is 5%
SILVER is 10%
